About RETTE
RETTE is available to students and employees 24 hours a day. To use the service, you must have an UiB account.
Required by law, RETTE provides the University with a collected overview of projects that process personal data, according to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) article 30. In addition to following up on changes, RETTE will facilitate for the internal control required by law, according to the act on medical and health research and GDPR. RETTE will facilitate so that the responsibility for the follow-up is consistent with the University’s guide lines, by system support from RETTE. The project manager confirms that the project information is up to date and correct, and the institute and faculty confirm their project portfolios.
The purpose of RETTE is to elevate students’ and employees’ knowledge about privacy, and act as a tool for the institutes at UiB, so that the management can be certain that personal data is processed according to the law.
